1. Do you have powered caravan sites?
We do not have powered caravan sites at this stage.
2. What Payment Methods do you accept?
We accept Cash on site and Internet Banking Transfer.
If paying by Cash or on site, please specify this in the 'special requests' field of your booking.
Banking details are provided in your booking confirmation.
Please note - we are a remote, rural town and coverage is limited so we may not be able to process the EFTPOS sale on site if we are having any internet outages.
3. Cellphone Service & Wi-Fi Facilities?
Yes we have cellphone reception also Wi-Fi is available.
4. What other facilities are available on site?
Please see our amenities menu located at the top of our webpage. We have a wide range of facilities such as a boat wash station, mini putt, swimming pool, flying fox etc.
5. Can we rent out the facilities on site such as the Mini Putt and Swimming Pool?
Yes, you can rent some spaces for an event. This is subject to availability, so please message our page to enquire. Pricing upon enquiry.
6. Is there a Supermarket nearby?
We do not have any major supermarkets (like New World or Pak N Save) nearby. You can access the Te Kaha General Store (16 min drive) or the Waihau Bay General Store (20 min drive). You can purchase some items like bread, butter and milk etc. but we recommend doing the majority of your shopping in a town with a major supermarket like Opotiki, Gisborne or Te Araroa etc.
7. Is there anywhere we can dine in or takeaway?
We recommend the Waihau Bay Lodge (https://www.thewaihaubaylodge.co.nz/) or Te Kaha Beach Resort (https://sites.google.com/a/apanui.co.nz/te-kaha-beach-resort/home). The Waihau Bay General Store does Fish & Chips and some other hot items to take away.
